The Earthwatch Institute aims to bring individuals from all walks of life together with world-class scientists to work for the good of the planet. Earthwatch arranges expeditions and engages people worldwide in scientific field research and education to promote the understanding and action necessary for a sustainable environment.

Earthwatch has enabled us to work with S.P.E.C.I.E.S., and the University of the West Indies on the Trinidad Ocelot Project , where volunteers help collect population and habitat data on the terrestrial mammals of Trinidad.
